Consistency.

Consistency

I have learned many things throughout 4+ years of marketing online. And the most substantial that comes to mind is CONSISTENCY. More specifically the ability to create some kind of system in which you consistently display leadership and direction. If you just keep doing that…you will learn tons of things along the way. Remember to be as humble as you can, to pay it forward to others in ways that matter to them.

The core of WTI is made up some great people who are ready to go the long term in the world of online business. Among them Jill Jacoby has demonstrated serious motivational action to keep the core folks together, to continue to build the vision of WTI and to help others along the way. Michael Exford and Carole Smith. Deborah Lynne and Deborah Seelbach. Catherine Wilhelm. Steve Czach. Aaron Griggs. Those are just a few of the characters that gravitate around the grounds of the WTI organization.

They have taken care to maintain a consistency of community, having actually bonded as friends and business associates who value one another’s opinions and sometimes even work together in the same programs. There are no requirements to be involved in a business. But there are no rules preventing you from joining as many as you want.

At WTI we apply some criteria to the decision making process of joining a business online. We soundly consider according to those principles if a business is worthy of joining. It’s very important for a business to have: Community, Sources of Traffic, Good Marketing, Good Product(s), and Consistent Training for Duplication….based on such criteria…many businesses disqualify themselves.

Personal Update:

Hello to all my friends here in the WTI community, and to anyone else who may have cause or occasion to stumble upon and find interest in this blog post

I am proud and humbled to be a member here, and to have found some solid friendships and business contacts. On a personal note, I want to apologize for not being recently as involved as I had been when I first joined here by invite of Deborah Lynne. I have many things going on in my off line world involving family obligations and responsibilities, which will culminate in me spending the summer months in Michigan, USA.

On the “professional end”, I am the creator/founder of the Hunger Game Matrix, as well as some other recent biz opps, and continue striving to make these opportunities fun, creative, unique, and profitable for all who actively work with them and realize that these platforms represent inexpensive ways to step into the “work from home” and “work online” arenas, NOT INVESTMENTS. Many of my friends from WTI are also active in the platforms I create. Most notably, Beck Elan and Deborah Lynne. I speak to them both frequently, and they are both well aware of my vision. Should anyone have curiosity about sites to visit, or more information, please speak with either of them if you are unable to communicate directly with me.

I will be “hitting the road”, and driving from California to Michigan in early June. On the way, I may stop off and meet some online friends if my chosen path makes that possible. Once things are more settled and dealt with, I fully intend to be one of the more active and passionate members here with WTI again. I appreciate Greg, and his vision, and all he has made available here for us, and all he continues to do to help anyone who is willing to apply themselves to at least begin on a path to potential financial rewards from exploring online.

I also hope that at some point, ALL of the platforms, biz opps, and programs (tools, diet aids, training programs, etc.) that are represented on WTI pages will be held to some level of integrity in their business practices so that when “newbies”, and even “veterans” see a “brand” affiliated with WTI, that affiliation will serve as notice that the “brand” IS reputable, trustworthy, and represents a genuine opportunity. I wish happiness, success, prosperity and good health to all who read these words, and thank EVERYONE in WTI who embraced me and made me feel as though I am a member ……. a FAMILY member!

So I am sitting here playing with a whole huge list of resources that allow me to post ads for my website all over the web. They say it goes to 1 million plus places. In particular I am posting ads to share the free community at WTI.

But I am pondering if using these kinds of tools are actually valuable in increasing Google SERPS or Traffic to your site? Or is it just another layer of the Marketing onion online and a waste of my time?

I paid only $4.99 for this list of sites to use for backlinks, pinging url’s, search engine submission, article directories and ad walls.

It sure seems like people must do this for a particular reason. Again we are unraveling the multiple onion layers of crafty folks who have learned how to work with the changing system of internet marketing and SEO modification.

There are so many aspects to the successful exposure of your business to the masses. Using the technical prowess of others’ systems is a no brainer. They put together this list of sites to which I can submit my business or ad. Doing this partially manually and partially automated depending on the site. I mean it’s about getting more backlinks still right? We can not forget this basic component of SEO.
