Marketing And Networking University Review: Cash Gifting Forced Matrix Cycler

MNU 2

Marketing and Networking University (MNU) launched in beta mode on 11/14/2014.  The domain was registered on 5/26/2014 and lists Steven Lawson as the owner.  An address in the UK is provided.

On the website of MNU, the founders are listed as Beau Buckley, Steve Lawson, Fred Mandl and Aron Prins. Their Mission Statement is “to be the online authority for all aspects of Marketing and Networking”.

The founder’s combined experience in MLM includes affiliate status in M&G Home Business, ViewTrakr, Empower Network, Internet Lifestyle Network, Staged, TSU, and Unstoppable Marketers.

The MNU Product Line

MNU has no retailable products or services with affiliates only able to market membership to the company itself.

Bundled with the MNU affiliate membership is access to a “blogging system”, “course creation center”, “product housing & advertisement”, “social network”, “student faculties”, “lecture hall” and “global creatives”.

Joining MNU

The MNU affliate membership revolves around affliates purchasing $50 positions with 100% commissions for the first month’s membership.  There is a $14.95 affiliate setup fee which gives affiliates the privilege of making money for the company.

MNU Compensation Plan

The MNU affiliate membership monthly subscription fee is $49.99 and revolves around the filling of a 3 x 7 matrix with each filled position paying out a monthly commission.

A 3 x 7 matrix starts with an affiliate at the top of the matrix, with three legs branching out under them (level 1).

3 x 7 Matrix

Those three legs then branch out into an additional three legs which continues down to 7 levels.

Positions are filled in an affiliate’s matrix either via direct recruitment or the recruiting efforts of their uplines and downlines.

When an affiliate recruits a new member themselves, they might not necessarily wind up being placed in their own personal matrix in a “forced matrix” compensation plan. Upline and “organic” spillover are only possible once all positions are filled in all matrices above each affiliate’s personal matrix.

A 3 x 7 matrix has 3,279 positions.

Conclusion

With nothing being sold to retail customers, MNU’s membership fee revolves around 100% affiliate commissions paid upon the recruitment of new affiliates.   MNU functions as a gifting scheme for the first month’s membership fee.  Affiliates pay $50 and get paid $50 for all personal recruits.

MNU’s 3 x 7 matrix includes affiliate’s subsequent monthly membership fees ($49.99) being pumped into the matrix by new affiliates and then re-distributed back out amongst existing affiliates.

Commissions are paid out dependent on how many positions an affiliate has filled in their personal matrix:

Level 1 – $8 each for 3 positions = $24

Level 2 – $4 each for 9 positions = $36

Level 3 – $3 each for 27 positions = $81

Level 4 – $4 each for 81 positions = $324

Level 5 – $4 each for 243 positions = $972

Level 6 – $5 each for 729 positions = $3,645

Level 7 – $6 each for 2,187 positions = $13,122

100% of the commissions paid out by MNU are affiliate funded.

When a company is pushing affiliate membership as their primary product in MLM, recruitment is the name of the game.

With 100% of the commissions paid out in MNU being sourced from affiliates and primarily tied into an affiliate paying a monthly membership fee, MNU becomes a blatant recruitment driven pyramid scheme.

You sign up as an MNU affiliate, you pay your affiliate membership fees and then recruit others who do the same. The more affiliates you, your uplines and downlines recruit, the more commissions you make.

Once the new recruitment stops at the bottom of the scheme, those who aren’t getting monthly gifting payments passed up will stop paying their $49.99 a month, which means the people above them will find their matrix income shrinking or drying up altogether when enough people stop paying.

Once this trickles up far enough, MNU will collapse.
