Why Does Facebook Retain So Many People?

How Does Facebook Keep So Many People Engaged?

Greg EddollsI don’t think it’s so much fear of change that is holding people back from newer platforms….it’s a matter of convenience. How many users does Facebook have?

Last quarter, Facebook passed 1.19 billion monthly active users, 874 million mobile users, and 728 million daily users. While the year-over-year growth numbers are listed above, it’s also interesting to seeFacebook’s growth from quarter to quarter.

It’s about the accessibility of the marketplace on Facebook. Sooo many people in one place…you just have to pick out your niche and start creating content to gain an audience.

I have been doing I.T. for nearly 20 years…and web design for about 10 years….and I have learned that I don’t really want to reinvent the wheel. It’s a lot of work…and other people’s wheels like Facebook…and YouTube and Twitter….etc are so much nicer than what I am capable of creating.

The draw of Facebook is the people…why not learn to use Facebook for what it is? Youtube is also a very profitable platform for those who are able to create regular content.

That’s the real challenge. Creating content that people want to see.

The INTERNET MLM world is full of hopeful ignorance, regarding the nature of new programs (shiny objects), and being at the top of the INTERNET MLM world is not only morally questionable but also legally dangerous. Why would anyone want to be at the top of an internet MLM program that takes money from ignorantly hopeful users over and over again.

Most people that I speak with have no passion or plan other than being “desperate to make money”. And we all know how long that lasts. If someone is desperate for money and they invest into an online MLM and they don’t know how to market, they fall into the trap and lose their money over and over again.

The learning curve is ridiculously steep and long and it usually takes years for people to make a decision to either come to their senses and do something truly meaningful and inspiring with their lives (thereby creating their niche for business) or to shift gears into becoming a “leader” in the Online MLM world.

The real challenge is once you have found your niche, learning how to document with video and pictures, to organize your training materials for interested people in your niche, to edit and produce your training materials, to distribute your training materials through websites, social platforms, and to build a solid email list to which you can market your professional materials and training products.

So what’s your niche?
