WTI Training #2

Mapping Your Workflow For Daily Business Activity

Mapping Your Workflow

Mapping your workflow means that you have simplified your marketing process down to a list of daily actions that produce the desired effect. It is a repeatable list and can be implemented on demand as learned experience and action.
It’s really important to realize for yourself when you make the transition from being a totally clueless student of marketing to an experienced marketer. This happens when you have mapped out a daily workflow for your marketing and when you have mapped out the details of each specific task AND when your daily workflow is resulting in targeted traffic.

Once you understand the dynamics of how Social, Website, Video, and Email work together and you have your tools set up then it’s a matter of “FINALLY” actually getting to work on the sharing and marketing part of your business. No one else should do this for you. You need to understand how it all works and then find the best way to combine your specific business niche with the best tools and methods available to reach your target market.
You are the expert on your business niche and your daily contribution to your audience who wants to hear from you will appreciate your consistency.
So let’s simplify and review. Here are the basic milestones you need to achieve.

Basic Milestones To Achieve

  • Find your passion and your niche.

  • Brand yourself and your professional image together.

  • Introduce a video camera to your daily action.

  • Learn some basic video editing skills.

  • Get familiar with YouTube channel, uploading videos and using YouTube Video Tools.

  • An Example of Workflow: This is what I do.

    • Figure out the night before if possible what you are going to record.

    • Get up early enough to take care of breakfast and hygiene.

    • Set up your video scene for recording the 2 to 3 minute video for the day.

    • Record yourself (or have someone record you) performing the How-To action for the day.

    • Plug your video camera into the computer and move the files and photos over for the day.

    • If you want to edit and you have editing software, prepare your video for upload.

    • Upload your video to your YouTube Channel. Include Title, Description and Keywords.

    • Upload your video directly to your Facebook “Business Page”. Use the same Title and Description.

    • Use the optional “Call To Action” (new FB feature) to link people to your website of choice.

    • When your video finishes uploading to Facebook you will get a notification.

    • Click on the Facebook notification and go to your video post.

    • Copy the Video Post’s URL Address from the browser at the top of the screen.

    • Take that address and post it in your auto-poster software. (You need to have your groups set up for posting.)

    • Put in a description and adjust your auto-post settings according to your preference. (Don’t post to fast!)

    • Direct people to your website or facebook page where they can further engage and sign up for email list.

    • Check your notifications throughout the day to personally respond to people’s likes, comments and shares.

    • Try to engage people about their situation as well.

    • Thank them for their engagement and actions on the material you shared.

Using Facebook Only Marketing – First Steps

    • Create a Facebook Business page.

    • Use exciting ORIGINAL pictures related to your niche as a header

    • Best to use an auto poster for this awesome video content. (See Facebook Autoposter) http://payspree.com/18961/watchman220

    • Engage people’s comments, likes and questions when they respond to your posts. (This part is best done manually to show that you are a real person that can hold a conversation.) All the hard work of getting them to engage you has been done through auto posting tools which push out your awesome daily video content.
